80 boost will unlock all core specialization. That mean, all the Hero Point (HP) you gonna get later will be used to unlock Elite specialization (1 from each extension, 250HP/each) The skiff and mount you see in Cash Shop are COSMETIC, the mount are acquired will completing Path of Fire (PoF) extension. All classes are worth playing. Rev has builds for two of it's elite specs that let it slot into any PvE endgame content (Quickness Herald and Alacrity Renegade), and all three of it's elite specs are pretty good for open world and just generally messing around with in WvW and PvP.

I have 2 characters: a level 55 Mesmer and a level 2 Ranger. I also have one level 80 boost, which I got when buying the HoT + PoF bundle. You need to be level 80 to get your first mount which would make progression 10x faster and more enjoyable for me. Playing the game in general would feel much more enjoyable! Link to comment

That being said -- I also wish any leveling boosters where "+Level Boosters" instead of just "Level Boosters." I have several Level-20 Boosters and all of my characters are above level 20 so they are trash to me. I don't think they should be sold on the Market, it would mean buying Level-80 Boosters for gems would drop to zero.

Players Helping Players. Level 80-boost not working. Didn't know whether to put it here or in bug reports, as I may just be missing something. I'm coming back from hiatus, playing with a friend. She has the level 80 boost and we decided to play through content together on max level characters. Every time she attempts to use her boost "Your E7t34V.
